RIP Willi

Hallo ihr Lieben,
gestern war ein trauriger Tag hier bei uns. Unserem kleinen Willi ging es schon ein paar Tage nicht so gut. Am Freitag waren wir bei der Tierärztin, und sie meinte, sie hätte im Bauchraum eine Veränderung gefühlt und daher sollten wir am Montag zur OP kommen. Über's Wochenende sollten wir ihn mit Schmerzmitteln behandeln. Am Montag kam dann die OP und leider hatte der kleine Willi einen ganz schlimmen Tumor am Gekröse, welcher nicht entfernt werden konnte und welcher auch die Lymphknoten schon betroffen hätte. Daher mußten wir ihn gehen lassen.
Mein kleiner Sonnenschein, komm gut rüber über die Regenbogenbrücke und warte dort auf mich. Ich hab dich lieb und in meinem Herzen wirst du immer weiter scheinen.

Hello everybody,
yesterday was a very sad day here, as we lost our little sunshine Willi. He wasn't so well in the last days, so I went to the vet on Friday. She told me that she felt something strange in his tummy and that we should come back for surgery on Monday. Over the weekend we should give him painkillers. On Monday, she discovered a big big tumor in his tummy that couldn't be removed. So we had to let him go. It was the hardest decision to make for me.
My little sunshine Willi, now you've found peace in the land over the rainbow bridge, and I know you'll wait there for me.
I love you and you'll shine forever in my heart.

Geburtstagstasche / Birthday Bag

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben,

bald hat die Partnerin von meinem Schwiegerpapa Geburtstag. Diesmal wollte ich für sie etwas basteln. Herausgekommen ist die kleine gehäkelte Brosche und das Täschchen, in welchem sie verpackt ist. Ich hoffe sie wird sich über das Geschenk freuen.

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
vor einiger Zeit habe ich mir ja eine BigShot gekauft. Leider kam ich so gar nicht damit klar, bis ich dann gelesen habe, daß ich für Stanzen, welche nicht von Sizzix sind, eine Thin Die Adapter Platte brauche. Diese wurde natürlich sofort bestellt, und kam letzte Woche an. Dazu habe ich mir die tolle Deutschland Stanze gegönnt und diese schon sofort in die Geburtstagskarte für meinen Schwiegerpapa eingebaut, zusammen mit einem 3D Fussballbild um natürlich unseren WM Sieg zu feiern.

some time ago, I treated myself with a BigShot, but sadly I couldn't really do anything with it, until I read, that I needed a Thin Die Adapter for all dies who are not from Sizzix. Of course I ordered the Adapter immediately and with it the great Germany die. Everything arrived last week, and yesterday I started doing this card for my dad-in-law's birthday, together with a 3-D decoupage football picture to  celebrate our world cup win!

Halloween

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben,
ich weiß, Halloween ist erst Ende Oktober, aber man muß ja früh anfangen, wenn man neue Deko haben will. Gestern flatterte dieses tolle Leaflet von Stoney Creek durch meinen Briefschlitz und ich war so begeistert, daß ich mir noch das Materialpack bestellt habe. Jetzt warte ich sehnsüchtig auf den Stoff und die Knöpfchen und den tollen Wandhänger. Halloween kann also kommen.

I know, Halloween is only in October, but when you need some new decoration, you've to start early. This sweet leaflet from Stoney Creek found it's way to my door yesterday, and I fell so in love with it, that I already ordered the material pack for it. Now, I'm waiting unpatiently for everything to arrive, so I can start the project.
Halloween, I'm ready for you.

Neue Stifte / New crayons

Ich konnte mal wieder nicht anders und habe mir ein paar neue Stifte zum colorieren gegönnt. :-) Manchmal muß man sich ja was gönnen.
Ganz oben sind die Lyra Rembrandt Aquarell Stifte, darunter von Derwent die Colorsoft, und dann brauchte ich noch einen neuen Wasserpinsel. Für nur 1 Euro mehr gab es den zusammen mit den Aquarellkreiden. Da konnte ich natürlich nicht nein sagen. Zu guter Letzt brauchte ich auch noch neue Blender und Burnisher.
Die Stifte sind echt der Hammer kann ich euch sagen. Ich bin total verliebt in alles. Ausprobiert habe ich sie natürlich auch schon. Fotos kommen noch. :-)

I couldn't resist getting myself some goodies last week. Sometimes a girl needs to get some nice things.
On the second picture you can see my new Lyra Rembrandt Aquarell pencils, on the third picture my new Derwent Colorsoft pencils. Then, I needed a new watertank brush and for only 1 Euro more I got one with the aquarell crayons. Last but not least I needed a new blender and brunisher.
Those crayons are just amazing. I'm so in love with all of them. I already colored some pieces with them and will show you the pics later. Still have to upload them to the computer. :-)

naaaa, habt ihr auch unserer Mannschaft am Dienstag die Daumen gedrückt???? Es scheint ja gewirkt zu haben. Ich hatte für unseren Fußballabend ein wenig Deko gehäkelt. :-) Ich hoffe sie gefällt euch. Nun geht's zum Finale nach Rio!!! Hoffentlich nützt meine Deko dann wieder und wir bekommen den Pott!

I made some sweet decoration for our soccer evening on Tuesday to cheer for our team!!! It looked like it worked as our guys did an amazing match against Brazil! :-) Now I hope the decoration will work on Sunday, too and we'll get the cup in Rio! Fingers are crossed here for our guys.

Sommersocken / Summer socks

Hallo meine Lieben,
sorry, daß ich sooo lange nichts mehr von mir habe hören lassen, hier ging es irgendwie drunter und drüber und dann konnte ich von meinem PC auch keine Fotos mehr hochladen. :-( Na ja, jetzt geht es wieder und da möchte ich euch doch schnell meine neuen Sommersocken zeigen, welche gestern fertig geworden sind. Ich bin ja sooo verliebt in die Farben. Da ich abends immer schnell kalte Füße bekomme, werden sie mir auf dem Balkon gute Dienste erweisen.

sorry, that I didn't post so much at the moment. I'm so busy right now and then I'd problems uploading pictures here with my computer. But now everything is a bit better and so I want to introduce you with my newest pair of socks. Aren't these colors just wonderful? They're such great summer colors and as I always get cold feet quickly I think these summer socks will keep my feet warm during those summer evenings on the balcony.

Geschenktäschchen / Giftbag

Guten Morgen meine Lieben!!!

So, endlich komme ich mal wieder dazu etwas zu zeigen. Wir waren nämlich über's Wochenende beim Hafengeburtstag in Hamburg!!! Es war auch unser Hochzeitstag, also passte es perfekt. Da sich meine Eltern in der Zeit natürlich rührend um unseren kleinen Willi gekümmert haben, mußte ich ihnen auch etwas mitbringen. Und als wir dort eine Kaffeerösterei besuchten sah ich das ideale Geschenk. Eine spezielle Kaffeeröstung zum Hafengeburtstag und eine Hamburg-Schokolade. Verpackt wurde alles in eine braune Papiertüte und die habe ich dann noch etwas mit Mäusen und Kaffeestempeln gepimpt. 

Meine Eltern haben sich riesig darüber gefreut.

Sooo, at least I found some time to post here again. We were away over the weekend in Hamburg at the harbor birthday parade. It was also our wedding anniversary last Saturday so the timing was perfect. As my parents looked after our little Willi, I needed a gift for them. We visited a coffee roasters in Hamburg and there I found the perfect gift. A special harbor birthday roast and a special Hamburg chocolate. They gave it to me in a brown paper bag which I pimped with lovely mice and coffee stamps.
My parents loved their gift.

hier ist mein neuestes Projekt. Mein Cousin wird 50, und ist ein super Musiker. Was würde da nicht besser zu einer Karte passen als der niedliche Henry mit seiner süßen Mäuseband. Das Happy Rocking habe ich mit einer speziellen Schrift am Rechner erstellt, ausgedruckt und coloriert.

here is my newest project. My cousin will be 50 in some months and he's also a great musician. So who would suit better for a card then sweet Henry with his cute mice-band???? I created the Happy Rocking with a special font on the computer, printed it and colored it. :-)

Moritz Gedächtnispulli / Thinking of Moritz pullover

Gestern nachmittag haben wir unseren lieben Moritz dann beerdigt. Er liegt auf einem schönen Waldgrundstück wo auch schon Max liegt. Die Sonne schien und es war ein schöner Tag. Hinterher hat mein bester Ehemann von allen mir diese tolle Wolle geschenkt um einen Pullover zu machen! Ist er nicht zu lieb? Es wird mein Moritz Gedächtnispulli werden. :-) Ruhe Sanft mein Kleiner.

Yesterday, we buried our sweet Moritz. He's sleeping in the woods now where already Max is sleeping. The sun was shining and it was a nice day. Afterwards my wonderful husband bought me this yarn to make a pullover for myself. It'll be my Thinking of Moritz pullover! :-) R.I.P. my Sweetie!

Mein kleiner Kämpfer Moritz. Gestern haben wir beide den Kampf verloren. Ich kann es immer noch nicht verstehen. :-( Ich seh dich immer noch vor mir und denke an deine Späße und deinen Kampfgeist und deinen Spaß am Leben. Jetzt lebst du hinter der Regenbogenbrücke und schaust zu uns herab. Du wirst hier nie vergessen werden. Bitte grüß mir den Max, ihr kuschelt bestimmt schon zusammen. Sag ihm daß ich ihn liebe und vermisse. Ihr seid für immer meine Mausketiere!


My little fighter Moritz. Yesterday we lost the fight. I still can't understand it. :-( I still see you enjoying your life and watching you doing mischief. Noch mehr Wolle / More yarn

Zu der tollen Harry Potter Wolle mußte ich noch diese Schätzchen bestellen! Das obere erinnert an einen Winterhimmel und das untere natürlich an ein gut gefülltes Bonbonglas!

Erste Versuche / Frist tries

Guten Morgen und ein wunderschönes Wochenende ihr Lieben!

So, drei Stempel konnte ich schon mit meinem kläglichen Rest EZ-Mount montieren und hier sind schon die ersten Versuche! Der kleine Gitarrist wurde mit meinen Tombow Stiften coloriert und der fesche Drummer mit einem Mix von Faber Castell Art Grip Aquarell-EmbossDualPen-Derwent Metallic. Jetzt fehlt nur noch ein Keyboarder und dann ist die Band langsam komplett!!! Sie warten schon darauf jemandem ein Geburtstagsständchen zu bringen.

I was able to mount three stamps with my rest of EZ mount yesterday and here are my first tries with two of them! The little guitar guy was colored with my tombow pens and the sweet drummer with a mix of Faber Castell Art Grip Aquarell-EmbossDualPen-Derwent Metallic pens. Now I only need to mount the keyboarder to make the little band complete. They're already waiting to play Happy Birthday for a special person.

Oooh, da ging ich doch gerade zum Briefkasten und guckt mal was ich da fand!!!! Hach, ich bin ja soo verliebt in das neue Stampkit von Whiff of Joy!!! Leider leider muß ich noch EZ-mount bestellen. Ich dachte ich hätte noch genug, aber natürlich war schon wieder alles aufgebraucht. :-( Und ich will doch sofort anfangen!!!! Wie gemein!

Ooooh, I just went to the letterbox and look what I found there!!!! Aaaah, I'm so in love with the new stamp kit of Whiff of Joy. Sadly I forgot to order Ez-mount for it, too, so I've to wait until I'm able to use the stamps. Silly me. :-(

Schreibheft / Notebook

Hallo meine Lieben,
seit gestern geht es mir ein wenig besser, Gott sei dank. Morgen haben wir nämlich unsere ersten Italienisch-Stunden in der VHS. Wir fahren dieses Jahr nach Sardinien und sind schon ganz gespannt. In Italien waren wir noch nie! Damit der Unterricht nicht so langweilig wird, habe ich mir natürlich ein ganz besonderes Notizheft gestaltet. Die Mäuse von House-Mouse-Designs liegen schon schön in der Sonne und braten vor. :-) Ich liebe diese Mäuse. Coloriert habe ich sie mit meinen Polycolor Stiften von Koh-I-Noor. Ich bin total verliebt in diese Stifte. Jetzt müssen wir nur noch fleißig lernen, dann kann es losgehen nach Bella Italia!

since yesterday, I feel a bit better, thanks god. No fever here anymore. Tomorrow we'll start with our first italian lecture at the adult education centre here in town. We'll go to Sardinia for our holidays this year, and I'm already so excited as we've never been in Italy before. Of course I made myself a nice notebook so the lessons won't be too bored. :-) The three mice from House-Mouse-Design are already at the beach and trying to get a tan. I so love these cute mice! I used my polycolor crayons from Koh-I-Noor to color the scene and I've to say I love these crayons to bits! Now we only have to study hard and then Bella Italia, here we come!

Kreuzstich / Cross Stitch

Hallo meine Lieben,

oh man, ich war ja schon lange nicht mehr hier, was daran liegt das wir im Moment alle flachliegen, d.h., die Mäuse und ich. Mein Mann hält wacker die Stellung und kümmert sich ganz lieb um uns!

Um mich ein wenig aufzuheitern flatterten diese tollen Sachen in unseren Postkasten. Ich liebe ja die House-Mouse-Design Sachen und als ich das Stickbuch dazu sah war ich hin und weg. Angefangen habe ich leider noch nichts, da ich immer noch mit Fieber hier im Bett liege.

omg, what a long time since I've been here for the last time. That's because we're all ill here, the gerbils and me, that is. My sweet husband is the only healthy one in the house at the moment and is caring for us in the best way. The make me smile again, these two goodies came through our letterbox. I'm so in love with all the House-Mouse-Design things and when I saw this cute cross-stitch book I just had to have it. Sadly I didn't start anything of it yet, as I'm still in bed with fever attacks.

Wie die Zeit vergeht / Time flies

Guten Morgen meine Lieben,

wie die Zeit doch vergeht!!!! Unser Patenkind hat ihren Führerschein gemacht!!! Ich kann es kaum glauben! War es nicht gestern als sie auf meinem Arm eingeschlafen ist??? Natürlich habe ich eine kleine Geschenktasche für sie gebastelt. In ihr versteckt sich noch ein kleines Matchbox Auto und etwas Benzingeld! :-)

Kleines Update: Ich habe das Benzingeld in kleine Kröten verwandelt und natürlich gab's am Ende auch ein Schleichen und noch einen kleinen Schmetterling, welchen ich mit Schrumpffolie gemacht habe.

omg, time flies, doesn't it? Our godchild just got her driver's license!!! I can't believe it! Wasn't it just yesterday when she fell asleep in my arms??? Of course I needed to make her a small gift bag. In it there's a little Matchbox car and some fuel money. :-)

A little update: I made some sweet money frogs from the fuel money and of course I put a bow on it at the end with a sweet little butterfly I made.
